Anxious About Your Next Job Interview?
Are you sure you can do the job, but worried that you won’t be able to sell yourself properly?
It’s tough times at the moment, with so many candidates going for the same job, all with fantastic skills and qualifications, you’re up against some strong competition.
Fact is, you’ve got to really make a big impression in the interview, and it all has to be positive. One little remark or statement can pull up the red flag in the interviewer’s mind, and your chances slowly start to slide downhill.
You can read all you want about interview skills and how to make a positive first impression but the only thing that will make a difference is practice. You’ve need to practice exactly what you’re going to say when you respond to the typical interview questions.
Our Interview Training focuses on you selling 5 examples that show you are the ideal candidate.
Most importantly: You’ve got to practice your interview skills with someone who you can trust will be ruthless in telling you exactly what you are doing right ….. and doing wrong. You’ve got to find someone who is experienced at interviewing people, so they can share with you what works and what doesn’t. You’ve got to trust they will tell you if you look nervous or over confident. Finally, after you have practiced, you’ve got to make sure that you really believe that you are the right person for the job. You’ve got to act like you are already in the role. Self belief is one thing that many people don’t have, especially when they are trying to take a step up in their careers. If you don’t believe you can do the job, your body language and the way you speak make it so obvious that you are not confident in yourself….which will lead to others not believing in your either.
